Home Remedies for Foot Corns

Foot corns are tiny circles of harsh, thickened skin that develop when the skin is exposed to extravagant friction or pressure. Such rough skin can cause constant discomfort and annoyance while walking, standing or exercising.

foot cornsCorns usually evolve on the feet, predominately on the top and sides of the toes, between the toes and the soles of the feet. They can also evolve on other body parts.

The common cause is wearing poorly fitting shoes, especially high heels for women. Other possible causes are walking barefoot, taking parts in physical activities that put pressure on the feet, leg strain and not wearing socks. Also, people with hammertoes, bunions, damaged sweat glands, warts or scars on their feet are more susceptible to get corn than others.
